Please don't use "ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib"

HI.

NPOI is Good Product for me.

I will make a product using npoi. I will distribute the product without sources.

NPOI License, Apache License.

But "ICShapCode.SharpZipLib" license, GPL.

Can you distribute NPOI without GPL?

...Maybe, I misunderstand GPL and Apache License.

If you can, please modify NPOI without GPL's library.

Sorry for poor English.

Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't watch this page. http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SharpZipLib/Default.aspx

This page, means "You can use SharpZipLib without GPL, if using original dll".

OK?

Sorry for poor English.

Thanks.

Thank you for your kind warning. The license should be paid more attention for such an open source project. I didn't pay attention to the license of SharpZipLib previously.  It's my fault.

Since the page says "you can use this library in commercial closed-source applications.", it looks ok for NPOI to use it with Apache License.

Anyway, your warning really makes sense if SharpZipLib doesn't allow us to use it in commercial products.

Maybe we can get rid of the SharpZipLib completely.
